While hunting around for the folder that the 2005 english championship arena promo was given away in, I stumbled on this article from 2005 from someone at the event. The site is a blast from the past and it’s really cool reading the first hand account. Apparently there was an unseen forces prerelease happening at the time.
On a side note, if anyone has any info about any sales of the folder that championship promo came in WITHOUT the card, that would be greatly appreciated!

That folder is still owned by me, the writer of the Pojo article. It’s a one of - unique item.
I got it signed on the stage DURING the closing ceremonies of Worlds 2005 when I found myself standing next to both Mr. Isihara and Mr. Akabane and happened to have the folder and card sitting in the pocket of my lab coat.

Hey! Awesome to see someone who was there during a part of pokemon history! I went back to my dms with @HumanForScale who owns a couple of these folders and he specifically mentioned his not being signed so I’m not sure why I thought this one was his
