Hello I started collecting pokemon again after 15+ years and decided what way to start off by opening a pack of the last set I played Base Set! I bought a pack and got really lucky I think. I would like to grade this card to commemorate the start of my collecting, but have no experience. Do you think this card will grade well or is it not worth it? Seems to be a bit of damage on the back bottom. Thanks in advance!
From the images I don’t see why it couldn’t get at least a PSA 9.
But your wording makes it sound like you are grading mostly for sentimental reasons. If so, does it really matter what grade it gets?
Not sentimental enough that I can’t just keep it in a toploader if it isnt worth it, but if it will score high I definitely want to grade it for sentimental reasons even though I don’t want to get into grading cards. thanks though a 9 seems worth it.
Haha, be careful it’s a slippery slope. Once I got my first graded card, there was no going back.

I agree with PkmnFlyingMaster, I never thought I would like graded cards! Foolishly, I bought one as a joke and now i have a PSA sized hole in my heart.
