TCG Collection
I’m working on getting every Riolu and Lucario card, across all languages. I will be updating this section in the future its very outdated now! I track everything on a spreadsheet, you can find here!
I collect raw mainly, but for the cards I have gotten signed, I’m working on getting them slabbed. I’m out in New Zealand, so the big name grading companies are really hard and expensive for me to access. It’s a back burner project for me!
I love my cards so, so much! They’re the main focus of my collection. My favorite Lucario would have to be Lucario DP12! It’s just so classic and nostalgic for me. My favorite Riolu would be Riolu 115/236 or Riolu 50/131! Both have super pretty artwork, and the colours go hard af.
Dog Cards
I need to get updated pictures since my old ones are really old. I think I’ll add them when I get my English cards in to fill most of the gaps! I need a lot more new binders in order to accommodate for all languages, but they’re just living in a box until I have enough cards to justify buying the new binders. You can refer to my spreadsheet above for which ones I have.
Signed Cards
I’m still very new to collecting autos! I’m mostly going for voice actors that are nostalgic to me, but maybe some artists when the time/price is right. The first one I got was Ash’s voice actor, Sarah Natochenny! I had the pleasure of meeting her in person at a convention in my city. It was wild she came all the way to little ol’ New Zealand!! She was so friendly, truly a memory I will treasure forever. This one is currently at PSA to get slabbed!
A good friend of mine also went out of his way recently at a convention to get me a Cristina Vee autograph! She voices Ash’s Riolu! So happy with this one, it looks so good! This one is also currently at PSA to get slabbed!
I’m so happy to have this in my collection! It’s Jason Griffith who plays Sir Aaron in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. It was a really influential movie to me as a kid! I managed to find a middleman who was going to the convention, as it was in a different city from me, and I’m so glad it worked out! Beyond happy with this one.
Coins 6 / 17
At the moment, I only collect the TCG coins. Maybe one day I will branch out! The coin that’s all roughed up is from my childhood. It’s been flipped so many times on the playground! I will treasure that forever. Sorry the lighting doesn’t show off the holo at all! They’re a lot nicer in person. I am missing a lot, especially some newer coins. I don’t focus on them too much, sadly. Maybe one day! The frame used here is called a “floating frame”. It makes the coins look like they’re floating when standing up.
Sleeves 3 / 28
There are surprisingly a lot of sleeves to get! I’m trying to get the art once per sleeve, so technically there is more sleeves. I haven’t pictured these, as there really isn’t much to show! I have one from the Furious Fists Elite Trainer Box, one from Ultra Pro, and tons from the Crown Zenith Elite Trainer Box!
Jumbo 1 / 6
I only have the Lucario SM100 jumbo currently, I’m not super interested in these. I’m trying to get the art once per jumbo, with a focus on English. The exciting thing, though, is that I get to have 1 French exclusive jumbo with Lucario XY140!
Plush Collection
I love my blue dog plushies so much! I keep them all on my desk. The life size one is a grail for me, I live out in New Zealand, and it was a big job to import it! Some of them are bootleg, but I love them all the same. Some of these I’ve had since the very beginning of my journey, I treasure them dearly!
Jakks Pacific Sitting Riolu 5" Beanie Plush 2007
This was my very first Riolu plush ever! I remember seeing this in a toy store in 2007 and getting so excited! I was amazed my favorite Pokemon finally had a plush I could have. I have had so many amazing memories with this plush on the playground, at home, in the backyard, and playing with my brother! He has been with me on holidays, appointments, and outside adventures as a kid.
It has definitely seen better days, it’s quite pale and dirty now. But I wouldn’t have it any other way! I had cut off the tags as a kid because they got in the way a lot and was kind of sharp. The ribbon is from a Lindt chocolate rabbit. I put it on to be like a Mystery Dungeon scarf. I always used a shell bell on my Lucario in the games, so the bell being with the ribbon meant a lot to me!
Vinyl Tomy Lucario Plush 35cm 2005
This one was my very first Lucario plush ever! I’ve had so many good memories with this plush. My mum and dad had gotten it for me as a birthday present, and I’m forever grateful! I’ve had countless good memories with this plush, and I’m glad it’s still with me today.
It unfortunately has seen better days! I had it in mint condition, but when my dad shipped me some of my stuff, he had crammed it into a box, which caused the vinyl to crack and peel due to age. It still makes me sad, but I appreciate the good times with this plush, and that can’t be replaced. It’s an unfortunate issue with any plush made from vinyl, the material just degrades over time, so you really need to be careful with it.
Pokemon Fit/Sitting Cuties Plush Lucario 6" 2021
I absolutely love the amount of detail they pour into such a tiny plush! I was so impressed with the quality when I got it. This one I got secondhand off Mercari Japan! It’s missing the tags, but that’s ok with me. They are so big and get in the way of displaying the plush!
This one has been with me to a few events, and more to come in the future! I think this one is my favorite out of my Lucario plushies. If you have a chance to get Fit/Sitting Cuties plushies, please do! The quality is so good. Definitely worth it!
Life Size Lucario Pokemon Center November 2021
This was such a pain to import to my country, but I love it so much! My big blue dog. I can’t wait to move somewhere with more space, he’s not in a great spot. I made a “friendship” bracelet with him that he wears on his ear at the moment! I have a matching, much smaller one on my backpack. The beads are a blue dyed tiger’s eye. So the crystal reflects light differently depending on the angle, so it kind of looks like aura flowing through it. The necklace is to reference the aura crystal things from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew! I keep a similar necklace with a bigger crystal on my desk as well.
Otherwise I like to decorate him for holidays! Just something fun, autistic, and festive to do! I have a photo of him during Christmas, and the other one is from Lucario Day! A holiday celebrated amongst Lucario fans to celebrate Lucario’s official debut in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
Riolu Build A Bear 16" 2024
What a journey it’s been to get this Riolu Build A Bear! I had been patiently waiting for it to come to New Zealand for a long time. It was eventually announced and then cancelled, but the lovely staff at Build A Bear New Zealand/Australia helped me get this guy, I will forever be grateful! Sadly the hoodie/sound it comes with didn’t get to me but thats ok! I love him just the same.
Lucario Banpresto Bandai Spirits Prize Plush 20"
I found this one on Aliexpress, and chanced it being legit. Which I was lucky! Sometimes excess stock ends up there and you can get a great deal. I love this plush, it’s so cute! He’s eating a Sitrus berry. I believe this is a prize plush from crane games in Japan.
Banpresto Super Huge Lucario Plush 15th September 2022
I was super lucky and managed to find someone selling this plush within my country! I already had the Banpresto Lucario with the sitrus berry, so it’s nice to have more of them from a similar set! This one is made from a super soft material, I’m really happy with it! I just wish it had a tiny bit more stuffing!
Riolu Banpresto Relaxing Time Plush 24/04/2025
I am absolutely in love with this plush! I love that he looks like a wet dog after a bath and hasn’t been brushed yet. The expression is really cute too! The hands used to be stitched down to his body, but I cut them loose so I can pose it on my shelf if needed.
BOOTLEG - Based Off Pokemon Center Lucario 13" 2019 Halloween Festival
The Halloween Lucario has to be one of my favorite Lucario plushies! The one I have is a bootleg, as the real one is really expensive. Maybe one day I’ll replace it! The outfit is actually based off Sir Aaron from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. The hat is also shared with Riley in the games! It’s a hat worn by Aura Guardians and means a lot to aura dog enjoyers. The quality on the bootleg isn’t too horrible, it looks fine from a distance as long as you don’t look too closely.
BOOTLEG - Based off Lucario Pokemon Center plush 12.5" 2018
I had wanted a shiny Lucario anything for quite a while, so it was a nice pickupat the time. The quality is poor, as with most bootlegs. I’m hoping to replace it soon with the new shiny plush that just came out! I love it though, it holds a warm place in my heart.
BOOTLEG - Based Off Lucario 7" Pokedoll 2019
I saw this wildly overpriced bootleg at a convention, and I just couldn’t leave it behind. It was way overpriced, but I just couldn’t leave my ugly son behind. The quality is so poor, but I’ve always wanted a cursed Lucario plush, so it works out. The hands are just printed on grey instead of using grey fabric, and the spikes are made out of triangular felt. It also has a string with a suction cup on it for some reason? He’s ugly and deformed, but he will always have a special place in my heart as a con memory!
BOOTLEG - Based off Kororin Friends Riolu 2017
Bootleg dog log! It’s based off the Kororin Friends plush. I find it so cute that they turned them into little chubby log shaped guys! The quality of this bootleg is unfortunately really poor though. The stuffing pokes through the fabric, the arms and feet are upside down, the plastic behind the embroidery on the eyes wasn’t removed, and the ring around the neck lines up in the wrong spot on the back. But it’s cute at least!
Figure Collection (WIP)
I find figures super fun! You can have so many of them without taking up a lot of space. I love the variety of poses and functions they have! Plus they look so cool when you have tons of them all together! I still have many more figures to photograph individually, but I hope this can suffice for now!
Lucario LDCX
I am absolutely in love with this figure! It has amazing good articulation and great range in joints! You can make a ton of poses. It does have a stand to do aerial poses too! The stand even has Lucario on it. I think this one has to be my favorite figure so far!
McDonalds Happy Meal Toy 2005/2006
These are disc-shooting McDonald’s toys from 2005/2006. I managed to find these being sold within my country, and I was super happy to pick them up! They are all a little bit sun bleached, but I find that super interesting. I personally love the really sun bleached ones. I want to find one as a grail piece! They turn a deep green!!! I also have a sealed one as well. It’s a bit of a joke between me and the species community on Discord!
McDonalds Japan Happy Set Lucario Toy December 2012
I managed to find this super cheap on AliExpress of all places! I didn’t expect it to come sealed, but it did! It was a huge surprise. Originally, this toy lights up with the aura sphere when you push it forward. It has wheels on the bottom that roll around! It squeaks like hell though. I tried to replace the battery, but they are really stuck in. Chances are, it’s corroded and fried anyway.
McDonalds Japan Happy Set Lucario Toy August 2025
Been wanting this to complete my Lucario McDonalds toy collection! Got it for a great price, I’m really happy with it! I need to take a photo with all my McDonalds toys at some point lmao. I think they’re so funny!
Keeppley Lucario
This one you build yourself! It comes with some additional accessories like an Aura Sphere, a punch (maybe Reversal?), and Meteor Mash! The circular platform he’s on can spin around as well. Overall it seems really high quality! It’s only for sale in Mainland China, but I found it for cheap on AliExpress. It also comes with a trading card, which is a really neat addition!
Riolu Blokees
I’ve had my eyes on this for a little bit, and I’m so glad I finally picked it up. It’s really well made and was super fun to put together! There’s a lot of fun poses it can do, but I love the one with the force palm, a really strong move. It’s so cool that it came with its own trading card as well. The front has texture, really cool detail!
Lucario Blokees
I already have the Blokees Riolu, so I thought, why not! A friend had let me know this was out now. It’s not as good as the LDCX Lucario and, in fact, is pretty limited on what poses it can do. It does have a stand to do some aerial poses, but I opted for an aura sphere. The effects of the stand are pretty cool, though! I also love how Blokees come with little cards. The holo on this is really awesome!
Lucario Funism
The quality on this is so nice, the paint is even and where it needs to be. It has some weight to it as well! The aura waves are a nice touch. And I love that it has its name in Simplified Chinese!
Shiny Lucario Moncolle
I’m not a huge fan of shiny Lucario, but getting this meant I could complete my Riolu/Lucario Moncolle collection again! I just need the shiny mega Lucario when that comes around.
Bootleg? Lucario Great Ball Figure
I’m not quite sure what the deal is with this figure, but it seems to be an official product. It’s quite poseable and can be folded up to fit inside the ball. Neat little thing to have on my shelf! Sadly, I don’t have any pictures with it folded up.
Ribbon Master
I have my Lucario from way back when I had Pokemon Pearl. I have turned it into a ribbon master! His name is Aura, and I love him very much! We have been on many adventures together. He’s just missing the Master Rank Ribbon currently because I hate VGC. One day I’ll finish it!
Stickers, Coins, Sleeves, Non TCG, Misc etc (WIP)
I love picking up the most random stuff! Something about a random object no one thinks twice about is really cool to me! Please enjoy my random garbage. I still have a lot to photograph, this isn’t everything!
The Autism Fit
I have slowly curated only the most autistic drip for myself. The jacket is from Pokemon Center, the shirt is Black Milk, and the bag is a bootleg. It’s reserved for only the most special of occasions. I used to have that old XY era mega Lucario pin, but it fell off my old bag back in 2018, I’ve never been the same since.
Lucario Shoes
For the convention I met Sarah Natochenny at, I made these shoes to match the autism fit! It’s all handmade. It was really fun to do, and they looked great! I got lots of compliments on them at the convention. I really enjoy being creative!
Handmade Lucario Keychain
This was another thing I made for a convention I went to! I hung it off a wallet chain I was wearing. These were made using nylon beading thread, seed beads, a split ring, and a keychain clasp. The bead stitch is called square stitch! It lets you make pixel art! These are based off the sprite for Lucario’s Poke Doll from the Underground in DPPt. Lots of great memories in there!
Diamond and Pearl Base Set Pack Wrappers
I love the art on these so much, so thrilled to have these in my collection! This would have been the first set from the TCG I ever opened! Very, very nostalgic for me. I managed to pick these up for a dollar locally! I love the art so, so much. I ended up filling them with some old cards for display purposes!
Brave Stars Booster Pack
I don’t like keeping sealed, but I found this from a vending machine while visiting Australia. We don’t have things like that where I’m living. I don’t think I’ll ever open it, it’ll probably just stay sealed in the blue dog collection.
Riolu Mini Tin
I love the art on these so much! I have the mini tin as well, but I don’t have it pictured currently. I made a cute setupto take a photo of the art card, though!
Lucario Binder Radiant Energy Lucario Box
This binder is from the Simplified Chinese Radiant Energy Lucario box. I found this for sale in my country and had to grab it! No clue what I’m going to put in it, but I’m really happy to have it. Anything with Lucario on it is really cool!
Riolu Keychain
I saw this on AliExpress, and it seems to be an official product! Sometimes you can find some cool stuff on there you can’t find easily elsewhere. The tail came broken, so I had to superglue it back in. But I’m happy with it!
Childhood Bootleg Cards
Bootleg blue dogs! I had these sitting in my childhood collection for years! My brother and I used to buy bootleg cards for fun. They really don’t make them like they used to! I have some with HP in the thousands, and damage in the high hundreds! They’re so nostalgic. These will have a special home in my binder! Glad to finally have these home. The Riolu with 300HP and 5 retreat cost absolutely cracks me up! It’s so good.
Daiichi Pan Stickers
I love collecting these! I hope to complete this side collection at some point. They’re really cute! These all range from 2005 to 2013, from what I understand! Some are movie anniversary stuff, others are just normal sets. All really cool in my opinion!
Lucario Coles Builders Pokemon Edition 2024
Back in 2024, Coles (a supermarket) had a promotion for every $30 you spent, you would get a pack of Pokemon Coles Builders. Each pack had a cardboard sheet that you could pop out and put together to make a little Pokemon stand. Very cool to have some Aussie cardboard in my collection from my homeland! They’re also quite small. It’s about 5cm tall!
Lucario Colour Changing Mug EB Games
Who’s that Pokemon? It’s Lucario! When I was on holiday, I finally found this mug at EB Games. I managed to snag the last one! I hardly ever have a hot drink, but this mug is really cool! Just happy to have another thing with Lucario on it, honestly. The other side of the mug says “LUCARIO” in black. When it gets hot, it turns yellow!
EB Games Lucario Socks
These came out recently, and I couldn’t say no! The embroidery is pretty cool, and they say “Lucario” on the sole. Very happy with these!
Very Real Gold Lucario DP12
DP12 is my favorite Lucario of all time. I saw this and just knew I had to have it. I’ve seen these bootlegs all the time, and I’m so glad to finally have one!
