Are shining legends booster packs a good investment?
Any modern product is risky, but I would say Shining Legends is definitely one of the “safest” ways to go when it comes to modern. Definitely one of the best modern sets out there.
It’s generally not a wise idea to invest in Pokemon cards. But if you’re going to, don’t invest in modern (meaning anything printed in the last decade). Shining Legends came out 3 years ago and could easily be reprinted. Investing in it has way too much risk and not nearly enough reward. Too many people are sitting on modern product – which is why it won’t increase in value (or at least not enough to make it worthwhile).
