Or even just a well produced YouTube documentary. A place near where I am got featured on a Japanese YouTube channel and the video got 3 million views and counting. Unfortunately that same place’s food doesn’t agree with my stomach at all but hey, plenty of other customers these days thanks to the video.
I always have read about the cheap prices in Japan on Real Estate… but there’s a lot of demographic issues, right? Like aging population, lack of youth, services, etc. And then you have the difficulty of getting in as an outsider and the stigma around that within the culture/society of Japan as a whole. Seems like it could be a lot to think about coming from the West.
Anyway, if I started Pokemon a lot sooner than my other business ventures I’d probably give it a consideration. I’m just not at that level yet and I’m happy with where I am for now.
Future Pokemon Satellite addresses?
Real estate is not like USA, The properties are not good investments , in Japan houses are more like cars. The houses will not appreciate unless the laws change. But the utility on how you use the house is what should be looked at.
So cheap. less than many used cars nowadays.

Wow those prices are wild! E4 might have to open a Japan office!
E4 East vs West culture war incoming once that base open up. I’ll just support whoever has the better Umbreon promos.
It sure is
I know on Instagram they show you all of these great house deals, and I am sure some of them would be fabulous. But the location is usually the biggest factor. For 90 percent of those houses you would need a car. Cars in Japan are also taxed heavily and require passing a $500 safety examination every 2 years. Also everytime you enter a highway that’s another $20.
Additionally many of those houses are built before the earthquake code updates in the 1980s and therefore could suffer damage in an earthquake or flood prone area. Also they generally get very dusty and have little cracks here and there. I should know as I am living in one right now.
The demographic issues in major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka are actually fine because people from small towns all migrate here. But all the smaller cities are set to become ghost towns in like 30 years. There just ain’t a whole lot of kids. You know kids that are supposed to be the next Pokemon nerds.
Too many people out there trying to sell the dream of living in Japan as opposed to what the practical realities are. Especially when it comes to working and learning the language to the extent that you could comfortably buy your own house, run your own business and generally just fit into society.
Inevitably when you hear about foreigners buying a house or running their own business whether that’s an English school, restaurant or import/export business, there is almost always a silent partner, who is inevitably Japanese to get them through the paperwork and bureaucracy. That Japanese person is almost always that person’s husband or wife in my experience. So I always have to roll my eyes whenever I see English language Instagram or YouTube videos about these things because for 99% of people it’s totally infeasible.

Yup there is PSA 9 no rarity Pidgey, Drowzee, and Caterpie available right now. All for less than $50. Of course things change by the week but common PSA 9s are relatively cheap here
To much negativity about moving to Japan. I have many friends move to Japan. A majority of the people that move to Japan are looking for a better life. If you are younger and want a change, do the move. Teach english and try it for a year. Many people i knew that ended up living in Japan and getting married are happier in Japan than in USA. IF you are rich, japan is the best place to visit and vacation. Working for a living in Japan is HELL for most. If you have expendable income in USA, buy a house for vacation (have richer friends buy in Sapporo just for ski season). If you surf ,buy in chiba, miyazaki, etc. IF YOU PLAN TO OPEN A SATELLITE POKEMON OFFICE. NARITA, OSAKA or TOKYO is the best locations.
Japan is a great place to live if you have a sugar mama/daddy or have expendable income/money.
Note: As for earthquakes, it averages out. You are more likely to get killed in USA by robbery, gunshot than a earthquake in Japan.
Everyone experience is different, the ones struggling in Japan will be struggling in USA even more.
DONT BUY A HOUSE IN JAPAN if you cannot afford to lose that money, I am thinking of opening satellite offices cause i am hedging that the laws will change in Japan eventually, If the laws/taxes do not change , Japan will get real bad economically in the future.
Use your Pokemon hobby/business and use that Japan house to generate some type of monetary utility. Be creative. shssssshsss
Do McDonald’s in Japan use beef tallow in their fries
They use a deep frier, but my supermarket provides beef tallow for free
Say waaaaa
jealousy, envy is bad for your health. Just ignore my ideas.
Pokemon satellite business/house is a smart way to work Pokemon into more money.
Move on
Sir this is a collecting fourum
You are just advertising and promoting property in Japan in this thread. There are other forums for that.
I am not selling property .
ALL my threads are related to POKMON and applying them to the Pokemon sector.
ALL… Visiting , living, office , GRADING , etc ALL with Pokemon.
Just sharing what i am doing with Pokemon Cards.
Just because you dont agree with someone else, does not make it not true.
The world is big, the ideas are endless.
Just a reminder you can silence threads or members. There isn’t anything in here to currently moderate. If anything there has been some great insight from members who live in japan!
Even worse, let me TLDR all the posts for you:
You all should move to Japan and try to earn some pocket money with Pokémon cards while enjoying life there. If you feel it’s hard living there, it’s because you don’t have enough money to live a good life, and that’s shame on you.
Don’t ask me what does this have to do with the “collection” in the title.
