Anyone elses binder pages curve and 'pop'?

I’ve slowly been transitioning from ring binders to BCW leatherette albums. I usually buy the ones that have a strap to close but theyre getting harder to find in new colors so I got one of the ones that has a zipper. I’ve noticed that when you turn one of the pages the middle of the page closest to the binding of the album will curve as im turning the page then pop back into place being straight. Almost all of the pages do this, some worse than others. Besides being very annoying when turning through the binder, I’m worried that this constant bending, even if slight, will affect my cards. Also wondering if anyone gets these types of binders and if this is common at all?

I can’t say that I’ve had any issues like this before in any of the binders I’ve owned. I’ve avoided ringed binders due to general wear down, nicks, and card bowing issues back when I collected Yugioh. I tend to like binders that have individual pages sewn into the binder, allowing for an even weight and easier page-turning ability.

Yea Im trying to get all my wotc sets in non ring binders for long term storage and protection. Just wondering, what binders do you use?

I have never turned back after converting to Legion’s Dragon Hide binders: www.legionsupplies.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=15

Ive been doing some research and xenoskin zipfolios seem pretty good. I want a binder with a hard cover, zips, cards dont slip out when single sleeved, and the binder actually closes when full of single/double sleeved cards. How well does legions binders fit into that description because I do like the look of the covers.

My VaultX binders have been great

The binders are definitely hard cover and feel amazing in the hand. I’m sure there’s a way you could get a zip cover for them, though they do not offer one that I know of that has a zip up option. The card’s don’t slip with single-sleeves as long as you have both sides of the page filled - they will likely slip out if you have one side empty though but this only happens when you’re turning the page, not when it’s closed, they’ll never come out while closed. It closes fully with single and double sleeved cards. This is an incredibly sturdy binder and can take on a lot of wait, hard to break or bend, and cards are displayed beautifully.
