Anyone else use the PSA set registry?

I use it and I love it. It’s like a little checklist and helps me keep track of when I got a card and how much I paid.

Yet I find most sets I’ve registered have very few competitors and there are only 31 1st ed holo base sets registered? This seems really low to me.

So do you use the set registry? What kind of stuff do you put up? If you don’t use it, why not?

I definitely use it, it’s a fun way to keep track of sets + it’s useful to input info as you buy cards. Although I do also collect coins and those sets (same system as PSA for PCGS) are awesome!

Edit: It is sort of strange how a holo set is completely different than a normal set though. I just don’t think people care enough (right now at least) for any commons / uncommons unless they’re 1st ed base.

I use My Inventory on psa to keep track of what i’ve payed for cards, what they’re worth now, who i got them from, their contact into, what date i purchased them on and all the pictures associated with each card.

As it currently stands, I hate the PSA set registry. I find it underwhelming and unsatisfying. I fail to see the point of it really. I have almost nothing registered and can’t be bothered to go through all of my cards just to appear on a registry. I guess it is cool that some people are able to get something out of it but I cringe whenever I read an article in SMR and it references the “X finest” or “Y most complete” set of something. Pretty weak pandering.

I really enjoy the Set registry, simply but effective, helps me keep track of my collection, either within inventory or sets,

Definitely could make improvements but you can’t moan too much about a free service

I’ll probably explore it a bit when I finish my collection goals. Seems like an interesting thing but being geared more towards sports collectors I think there are some issues with Pokemon (e.g. people only collecting certain cards from a set, card varieties that span several sets).

Use it and really like it, Allows me to keep my PSA collection organized for older sets, I notice a set registry isnt available for a bunch of newer sets at the moment. But for older sets I use it for what I paid, what its worth, where I got it, and when I got it. recommend it.

It’s a great tool and app, I’ve been using it since it came out. It’s a great place to have your entire graded collection listed with several layers of information, also useful to do a quick search of your collection.

So I guess the consensus is people either use and like it or think it’s best suited for sports collectors/a cringy ranking system.

For the people who do use it, feel free to post a link. I’d be interested in browsing through everyone’s collections

I think Charlie in an outlier. We were discussing this a few days ago oddly. I love it and use it as a backup to my personal inventory methods.

I like how it is simple and straightforward. There are other features available I don’t use, but it’s nice they exist. Private comments and pricing for example. I appreciate this tool by PSA although I do not completely rely on it or include information I’d consider private (sales notes, etc.) I do plan to upload pictures at some point.

It’s a great tool that serves its purpose.

I’ve seen your sets on the rankings. So amazing, I’d love to see them all in person.

Does this only track complete sets? Other than first ed base I don’t collect sets but if there was say a separate part for just gold stars (please tell me this exists) I would really like to start using it.
