Any Info on these Cards? 2003 POP Tourn. prizes?

Hello, I am really interested in these 2003/2004 European POP black star promo tournament cards. I know the art is not unique, but they just look super cool. Does anyone know a rough figure of how many are were printed? And if they were given to all tournament comers or just winners? Any thoughts would be greatly appropriated

ive been looking for info on if these came sealed or not, if you or anyone knows please tell me lol

I always thought they came in the EX-series tins with 2 boosters and a ‘never-before-seen’ foil card.

So the ones I have seen before have a completely different label? It’s the same cards though. The dates at the bottom of the card are 2003 like the ones on pwcc right now. But the ones pictured say 2004 on the label. So which ones label is correct, anyone know for sure?

I didn’t get an answer on this like two weeks ago so I figured I’d get this back to the front hoping to get an answer maybe! Does anyone know which label identification is correct? Several cards have been graded with each type of label…


It’s the exact same card, I couldn’t imagine PSA screwing this many labels of a particular card up…

It’s because after a certain date, everything is on the European label, to my knowledge. I graded that Mudkip 10 on the old label, for example, before they gave the designation.

Ahhhhhh I see, thanks Charlie! So all the ones graded in the future will say the Europop tournament then?

The total population of these is (with current info) unobtainable. We know that they were a regional release (only in Eu). We also know that they were distributed at low level tournaments as ranked prizes or participation prizes. It’s safe to say that they are some of the rarer promos printed in English.
Also, don’t get too wrapped in how PSA labels them. If it is holo and has the pokeball it is the Euro tournament trio. PSA is just very inconsistent about labels and it can be confusing.
