All Trading/Buying/Selling Locations? NEED HELP!

So I’m still extremely new to the whole Pokemon collecting scene. I keep seeing videos and posts about people trading and finding cool buys on random sites and stuff I’ve never heard of. It made me realize my lack of site knowledge… I’ve been confined to here, eBay, and very very little FaceBook (in one group).

SO I NEED TO KNOW EVERY WEBSITE THAT I CAN BUY/SELL/TRADE FOR CARDS AT!

So far we have:

Things I know of but need more information on:

  • instagram (MY USERNAME: TheCardGuyzPokemon)
  • FaceBook

What I’m looking for here is a list of all locations you guys have successfully used to trade/buy/sell cards you need. This includes blogs, instagram accounts, blah blah blah. I want to know it all so I have the best chances of finding the cards I want and have more ways of getting rid of the cards I don’t need. I’m hoping this can be a sort of master post for everyone to refer to (newer and older people alike)!

Seriously though. Not trying to be flippant, but I doubt anyone here is going to reveal any site/source that they think they have a monopoly on as good sources for cards can be hard to find. Ask @pokemonsyndicate about all the secret no raritans.

Also, it really depends on what you are looking for. eBay.com will link you with a lot of big boys who often times carry larger stock on their site (think DAcardworld and T&T). If you are looking for old sealed product specifically a google shopping search can work wonders or lead you into scams. I have bought some very hard to find old booster boxes this way and have also found too good to be true deals on other older boxes. Be careful out there. Always check for a BBB listing or ripoffreport or anything like that or ask for a quick reference on here for any new site you haven’t heard of.

Lastly, having good relationships and good connections through this forum and with a solid buying/trading thread on here can work wonders as you never know when some helpful fellow collector will share a link for something you are looking for. I have been on both sides of that and it is very rewarding to help or be helped. It happens quite often. Though this can be tougher when you are looking for extremely exclusive things.

Yahoo Japan as @pokemonsyndicate said, also tcgrepublic for Japanese cards but they are hit and miss on condition.
