Figured I’d just post a complete list here as reference to link to for myself, since I’ve already created similar lists a couple of times before in comments on reddit. Hope it helps anyone going after the National Index including every form.

Someone just contacted me on reddit stating I was missing some forms. It doesn’t happen often that I’m the one getting lectured with such an abundant of information, so I must admit I was pleasantly surprised and impressed.

The ones (s)he stated I was missing:

  • Wobuffet Female
  • Bibarel Female
  • Tornadus Therian Forme
  • Thundurus Therian Forme
  • Landorus Therian Forme
  • Ash-Greninja (not sure why it wasn’t on the list, since I thought I already added it…)
  • Reshiram In Overdrive
  • Zekrom In Overdrive
  • White Kyurem In Overdrive
  • Black Kyurem In Overdrive
  • Marshadow Zenith
  • Silvally all Memory Discs
  • Mega Medicham (somehow forgot to add it…)

I also noticed I was missing some myself afterwards due to some links (s)he provided (mostly this one and this one):

I’ve update the list in the first post. For the Male vs Female I’ve only posted those with easy distinguishable differences, since most are just a smaller/larger horn or fangs which are barely noticeable on the sprites and cards. So the Male vs Female variations that were added to the list are:

  • Venusaur
  • Butterfree
  • Gloom
  • Vileplume
  • Kadabra
  • Alakazam
  • Doduo
  • Dodrio
  • Magikarp
  • Gyarados
  • Xatu
  • Wooper
  • Wobuffet
  • Girafarig
  • Steelix
  • Heracross
  • Roselia
  • Cacturne
  • Bibarrel
  • Shinx
  • Luxio
  • Combee
  • Buizel
  • Floatzel
  • Gible
  • Gabite
  • Garchomp
  • Hippopotas
  • Hippowdon
  • Snover
  • Tangrowth

I checked for each of the added variations above whether there are any TCG cards available for them. And of course I immediately purchased all cards that were available.

Since I’m having trouble with which forms and new Pokémon I have incoming for my collection, I decided to create a checklist for this collection as well. And I’ve also decided to include all Shiny Pokémon that are available as Pokémon TCG card (idiot that I am, since most are Gold Stars or Shining Neo Destiny Triple-Star Pokémon… :unamused: And those Shiny Pokémon from Call of Legends, Dark Explorers/Freeze, and GX Shiny Ultra aren’t exactly cheap given their numbers either…). Ah well.
Here is that checklist.

If anyone knows any form I’m missing that is available as a TCG card (can also be in the background of another card instead of its own dedicated card) let me know. This includes really everything: every form mentioned earlier; every Mega and Alolan Pokémon; every Shiny, Shiny Mega, Shiny Alolan Pokémon; Male vs Female differences; Cosplaying Pokémon (thus far only Pikachus and some Eevees); artwork errors (i.e. back horn on the Gym set Charmander); etc. etc.
I’ve also included all Fossil cards and the Clefairy, Substititute, and Robo Substitute PokéDolls at the bottom.

If you can think of any missing (perhaps some Japanese exclusive Shiny Pokémon, since I’ve used an English list as reference), or if you think another type of card similar as the Fossils or PokéDolls should be added, let me know.

Expensive as they are, at least GX Ultra Shiny released a shiny Espeon and shiny Umbreon…otherwise getting their English shiny cards from pop 5 would be, uh, a tad more pricey.

Also, would you consider the Pichu Bros a different form of Pichu? I mean, they look like two regular make Pichu’s but they have their own card…

I just noticed one of the two Pikachu brothers has a little hair forelock, so I’ll add it as well as an unofficial variation like the cosplay Pikachus, and will order one. Thanks for the feedback.
