About cleaning a pokemon card

I hate that this has to be said, but if someone tells you to use sandpaper, they’re making a joke.

How to clean a card?

[image][image]I am wondering if there is any safe way to clean this up? This blastoise sat in a binder for years and looks like some residue was left up near the evolution box. Also, there is this black speck. If I could clean those off, this has a shot at a 9. Any advice is appreciated! [image] [image] [image] [image]

You kinda feel bad for the guy ngl, but on the other hand, he really thought sandpaper was gonna work to ‘clean’ a card.

Anyway, if the front of the card is perfect, it’s as if it were meant to be a binder card.

Or alternatively, sell it, and (add a lot of extra money to) buy a PSA-9 or 10, if you want one of those in your collection. Although I have the feeling it isn’t about owning a PSA-10 in your collection, but simply about maximizing your profit. Just a gut feeling, though..
