Looks like that guy out in TX has 50 up for sale haha.
I had talked to several workers at the local Target a few days ago - all of them said there would be no event. I stroll over there this morning and they did!
Got to Target 10 minutes before 11am and didnt see anyone ready for the event. I was starting to think maybe my Target wouldn’t have the event, but someone eventually came out with all the displays/boxes and free stuff. I easily picked up all 6 Charizard boxes they had. I was surprised I was the only one getting anything to buy. The few kids who did approach the Pikachu guy were mainly interested in the free visors.
Good luck to anyone getting multiples of the Magikarp. I spent $160 at Target today with their Buy 2 Get 1 Free and they would still only give me one promo card. Fucking dick. They also tried to limit how much Generation product I could buy and I refused.
Maybe because I went in one day when the Mew boxes came out and bought all 24 of them…
By the way. I had a GOD Charizard Ex Box today. I wish it was on camera. 2 Mega Charizard Ex’s in the SAME Box!
I ended up picking up 3 Celebi Boxes and 6 Charizard Ex Boxes from Target, then stopped at Walmart and had them price match 3 Charizard Ex boxes with Targets sale. So I got 9 total today.
You know. Does everyone on here have to give me such a hard fucking time? You still don’t get it. You think weighing packs means that I would pull all the good cards. That was hardely ever the case.
Let’s not harass people for things they aren’t actively doing. It is one thing to call out low standards while the act is going on, but there isn’t any thing to be gained for bringing it on now that the issue doesn’t exist.
Pretty frustrating as someone who doesn’t live in America seeing some people walk away with ~50 of these free promos and then trying to sell them for around $5 a pop to people who aren’t lucky enough to have access to them. I get it, supply and demand ect. ect., but it’s just a bit disheartening.
