SO happy to have added this to my collection. I never thought I would see one in person much less own one myself. Picked this up and the entire competitor’s set recently from a competitor and couldn’t be more excited. Anyone ever had/have an ‘04 winner card like this?
To expand on this post, what other World’s Promos does everyone have? Any Top Placed cards anyone have to share? Would love to see these as this is my first dip into these types of cards and I’m hooked!
Just dropping in to admire this card – not a World’s Promo owner myself, but the artwork on this (and others) is gorgeous.
Completely agree! The World arts are some of my favorite in the hobby. This and the ‘08 (and obviously the ‘99) are by far some of my top 5 arts in the hobby. Pair this with the rarity and it’s a perfect combo. Can’t wait to see what the grade is in a few weeks 
Those early year stamps are tough to find, especially 2004. Glad to see these getting more love. They were criminally underrated for years.
Completely agree. Your Worlds video and Pokenomics’ video on the sets helped educate me on these awhile back and I fell in love with the art and story of the ‘04 set.
Side question for you Scott (as I haven’t seen you post a video on this topic yet) how do you decide a price point on such low pop cards after grading? Is this a “set your own price” situation or do you feel comparing to similar rarity/low pop item price points is more efficient? Glad I could post something that grabs your attention!
Saw this posted up today on eBay. Can’t say I’ve ever seen one posted for sale. Thought it would be cool to add this in since it’s a first for me. Anyone else ever seen one of these posted for public sale before?
Nope, I remember early this summer looking through threads and previous searches a bunch. As a (I think) less than pop 10 card, it truly doesn’t come up often. Interested to see how the market reacts.
Same! I know someone with a “Top 8” Stamp and outside of David Persin I’ve never seen anyone else post one. Yes the pop report has a total of 6 currently. Since I sent mine off a few weeks ago one additional 10 was added to the pop report so I’m extremely hopeful it’s mine!
We have a top 16 PSA9 and 1 ungraded top 16 and a Quarter Finalist of 2004.
Also a few of 2005, 2006 and 2007.
I will let them grade someday.
