2 years and 83 cards later

Hit a new milestone today:

reverse evolutions

I’m the second person on the PSA registry to record every reverse holo for 2016 Evolutions in a PSA 10. A total of 83 cards. A big thank you to @squirtle1000 who parted with his reverse grass energy for me to complete the reverse set.

My goal over the past two years as been to get an evolutions master set in a PSA 10 and I’m that much closer now that the reverse cards are taken care of. I’m in the final stretch of my journey trying to collect the regular common and uncommon cards (and a raticate) in a PSA 10.

It’s been a chase of pure endurance and grit as the last two years has been nothing but me scanning auctions, attempting to make deals, and find usable pack-fresh raw cards worthy of grading. For those who don’t know, Evolutions is one of the toughest sets to grade. The centering is a disaster for most cards and even common cards (including energies) are few and far between graded in a 10.

I look forward to continuing my hunt for the master graded set, with luck I’ll finish up early next year but only time will truly tell.

Congrats! That’s a big achievement. So glad that I was able to help you with the last card. :slightly_smiling_face:

Good luck on the rest of the non-holos! Those are tough due to condition scarcity and just not enough being graded. Looking forward to seeing your complete master set.

Congratulations and hats off to your dedication! These registry goals can be super challenging and something like getting a 10 grade for hard to grade cards is really a task. Really happy for you and wishing you all the success for the remaining cards. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers!

It’s very much been an uphill battle, but one I’m really happy to be chasing!

At the moment it’s like crossing off a chore on your chore list that you really kind of dreaded. Huge relief once it’s done though.
