1st ed zard

I sold a 1st ed Zard at a really good price and I think I’m losing on this deal after going over the market again … Has any body been in that position of regret and what would u do or what did you wish u did differently if that was you at one time? Would u keep the card for example if u had a second chance

I don’t know how to phrase these questions with prices or details without fourthstar shutting me down on a technicality so I’m going to leave that out for now… but if this is a legal question I really need consultation before its too late if I can get that here

What are you asking?

You basically have sellers remorse and want us to advise you what to do? If you care about your integrity ship it out and let it be a lesson for you.

You said yourself its a really good price. Noone can predict the future.

You shouldn’t list cards you love too much.

Basically I’m asking if u ever regretted selling a card and if you could go back would you do it differently

Since I don´t sell too many cards, I never had immediate regret - but I sold a few cards that I wish I didn´t sell in hindsight: Feraligatr 5 PSA 10 and a handful of others. I´m going after the rule that I never list anything for below what I´m actually happy with, only looking forward from there

Thanks man I’m in the middle of needing the money and in love with the card and I feel stuck is all… Seeing if anybody can relate

I remember Gary saying he regretted every card he’s sold since 1999. Personally, I regret a lot of sales, it comes with the territory with what we do.

Ahhh I’m so close to backing out of the deal… U ever had to do that?

I’ve regretted nearly every Pokemon sale Ive ever done, but you can only really do that in hindsight.

I thought I was getting a killer deal selling my Dragonite for $4k in cash at the carpark at work back in early 2020.

Now I know that guy got a nice deal

Can I mention the actual price here and get an opinion?

Sure, noone is going to stop you.

Sure

@chewy when you actually need the money for something else that is immediate and you got fair market value for the card there is nothing wrong with selling it - if you really want to back out, try to explain the situation to the buyer, he might understand. It happened to me multiple times already that sellers canceled deals on ebay for whatever reason without any real explanation and I just think that´s bad business.

As @admiral said, I could actually regret every single sale I ever made since everything went up but that´s not how collecting or anything really works  #noregrets

I sold a PSA 10 1st edition Shining Charizard for $2700.

Hope this makes you feel better. Move on and keep collecting.

3900 for a psa2 it sold in like 15 minutes. I can’t find anything close to that. I feel like I’m better off keeping it. Im not looking for fortune tellers I just want to see if anybody can relate in anyway and how it went for them

It’s not a horrible price

Crumby part is that there is no right answer. Lol what a trip I love Pokemon but need money its a grey area

Idk man these things are scarce right now it seems
