1st ed Team Rocket $8,000???

Why are all the ebay listings of 1st ed team rocket at $7,000 and $8,000? did i miss something or are a few people on ebay trying to scam everyone? haha i am confused

I posted mine overpriced for show and not really for sale. Gets me views and attention to my ebay. Plus people come to me asking if I buy other boxes too. Good way to get attention. I’m guessing that’s the case for those boxes as well.

Pricing an item higher or lower isn’t scamming.

That’s not a very scumbag thing to say.

The last one sold for $3700. Who knows what the next one will sell for.

Just showpony listings or priced super high to field offers, none have sold anywhere close to that

With a few exceptions, you are right. It is up to the buyer to decide if they want to pay that.

It hardly matters what ongoing listings are priced at. Now completed listings? That’s different.

As far as Team Rocket is concerned. I love the prospects of graded sets in the future. They aren’t too expensive right now but I can see that changing.
