Join me man! It’s very fun even just choosing them, would be interesting to see how our Pokedex’ differ. The best thing about this is that not one person will have the same Pokedex of cards as you. Totally unique. I’m thinking of doing something more interesting once I complete the Dex than just put it in binders, maybe some kind of framing or something.

Chosen the first 20 now. Went with base rattata and team rocket raticate. Onto the next 20!

@azulryu thanks man, will definitely be choosing a few of those (will update pic in a bit!). I don’t mind new cards too much, so long as the overall theme isn’t ‘spoiled’, e.g. the Weedle I chose is from XY3 but it fits in well I think, as opposed to a full art of a card with big Japanese word-art over it! I reckon you should join me and at least make the thread or your own personal list, it’s very fun! You don’t have to actually collect it yet. :blush:

@aj1 that’s a cool idea man, and in my mind opens up lots of new variations and rules we could use when compiling a pokedex. Maybe after I’m done with this one! :wink:

Ah, I’m also noticing how your evolutionary lines compliment each other. Each of them have a lot of similarities. Or at least that’s how it seems to me, especially when you went with the Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff suggestions.

And you’re making it tempting NOT to make my own list. Haha. The question then, however, is if I should go ahead and complete it, because I’ll be more than tempted to!

I’m glad you picked up on that. I think for the most part it’s a subconscious thing, but then with some it’s on purpose. Like when choosing the Metapod and when I saw the one you posted, it was a tricky decision but I thought it was kind of too similar to the Caterpie plus it was from the same set, and I think there is a good contrast now. One of the coolest things about this project for me, is seeing an evolutionary line of artworks that has hardly ever been seen before (heck even with cards from the same set usually the holo’s are at the front and separated). Well join me and then when I’m done maybe you will want to fill the void! :grin:
