WTT 1st ed 9.5 Charizard for 1st ed 9.5 Charizard.

I’d rather half a bug squished in my case than the edge of my card crimped inside the case and completely destroyed. Which I’ve seen more than once with other people’s PSA subs

BGS is superior.

BGS cases look 1000x better than PSA cases, but from what I’ve heard their turnaround times have been absurd lately and I’ve personally seen fake Pokemon cards graded by them. I don’t know much about MTG but I recall Rudy from Alpha Investments mentioning that Magic fakes slip by them occasionally as well, so I’m not convinced that they’re the superior grading company. That said, I’ll take those beautiful looking cases any day!

Both PSA and BGS are experiencing huge demand for their services and they both have delays. It takes at least 6 months to train a grader and because of the minimum wage rising it’s more expensive for these companies to hire people.

If you want a quicker turnaround time you can always pay more.

Just curious where this was written?

I heard they are gonna outsource the graders next. It takes only 48 hours to train internationals and they don’t even care about labor laws and benefits. AND they’d work weekends and American holidays.

With some of the grades I get it feels like they’ve just hired virtual assistants across the world and inspect the card over skype on webcam.
