WTB PSA 6 or 7 First-Edition Chansey

WTB PSA 6 or 7 First-Edition Base-Set Chansey for $150–but I’m looking for one with a dent or some reason for the grade other than scratches. Thank you!

So you’re looking for PSA 9-10ish condition?

If that’s the case, you may need to at least double your offers.

I doubt anyone here has a pack fresh 1st Ed Chansey just laying around ungraded, let alone is willing to sell it for 180$. PSA 9s are at 500-600$ right now.

Are you trolling?

Definitely a troll

You better be trolling -.-

I’m not a troll. Some cards are pack fresh but expected to grade an 8. $180, no fees, is the value of an 8, is it not?

To be clear, I’m looking for around PSA 8 quality. Many times pack fresh cards are in the 8 range

NM-M or ~8 is a good descriptor when looking for a raw card around a PSA 8. Pack fresh got the above people worked up because it can mean PSA 9 or 10 which is significantly more money.

Raw 1st edition base holos in the 8-10 range are hard to find because everyone grades them. If you want a raw card you might be better off cracking an 8. Recent prices on them range from 180 to 250.

Exactly this. If you truly want a PSA 8 quality 1st edition base set holo, just buy a PSA 8.

It’s about to be 2020, raw 1st edition Chanseys that are near mint aren’t just lying around anymore (and the few that are won’t be owned by the people on this forum, we’ve all graded them).

Oh okay, a PSA graded one will be good. I’d be looking for an 8 with no to minimal scratches on the foil.

Thank you!

Good luck, I am biased but excellent card choice! Though heads up, as someone who has several shadowless and 1st Ed. PSA 8/9 Chanseys… if you want no to minimal scratches on the foil for an 8, you usually are trading off elsewhere, namely back/corner scuffing, that I personally wouldn’t consider pack fresh. So maybe aim for a 9?

Yes, I understand something like centering and scuffing could be the reasons for an 8 grade. I’m good with that (not that much of a perfectionist haha)

Updated!

I could do 130.00 for a PSA 6 but I can’t tell through the case why it’s a 6 besides whitening.

I have a PSA 7 for sale it has foil scratches
