Hello fellow PokéManiacs! Looking for some advice on potential fakes and re-sealed Base Set Unlimited booster boxes, what to watch out for.
I’m currently considering the purchase of two Base Set Unlimited booster boxes with my brother. A big step for us as collectors, and a big financial investment, so wanted to hear if any of you guys have some hard earned experience to share.

Buy from a reputable seller. Also, post here before buying.

Private seller I’ve met through a local Facebook group. Seems trust worthy enough, will ask him where he got it from.
Box looks fine. Just don’t pay through friends and family unless it’s already in your hands
That box looks really good. A good way to tell is the Wizards of the coast logo never goes beneath the first half of the box. If you look at your box, it stops at the half way point into the linear seal.
