World's 2023 Stamped Pikachu ex PSA 10 Already Graded & Up for Auction

Define reasonable? You cant expect to get anything from japan at or even close to retail if theres any actual demand for it. I got the stamp promos when I thought the initial prices cooled off and that was about 200 for the 2 promos sealed. And that was pretty close to the lowest they got to and they’ll likely never be anywhere near that low again. That’s just how market value works. The value of those promos does not equal msrp of the product they came from. You are buying them second hand off the internet for their market value and you’re never going product from japan purely for its msrp.

If you want the promos, you can wait a bit since japanese modern is cooling off right now but I don’t see those promos going below 400 bucks raw. Stuff goes up over time, thats how it works.

tbh i predict it may get printed in other asian languages once the duo set(Ancient Roar and Future Flash drops or the high class set) like they did with precious pika.

Yes but again, this is a little different due to the unique Worlds stamp. So it is a little better than the previous pika

Waiting for the cards to hit $40 raw, way overhyped, who’s buying these promo boxes at $300-350…

Im betting my entire collection these cards will never hit 40$ in NM condition.

I remember when the precious collection box was first announced, it seemed like the general online response was a lack of desire for it. The initial photos made it look like a plain non-holo card. Also, since it was a pre-order item limited to one per Japan household (or so it was advertised), I thought maybe people didn’t really buy it

After it was released and people realized it looked a lot nicer than the initial photos, it seemed like by then, people might’ve missed the boat on it. At least that’s how I interpreted the prices once the item released. But I’m making a ton of assumptions here based on the responses I saw online

Hahah did you guys now? Nice job guys

Going to buy the psa 10 graded at $150, just waiting

I know your buying up these boxes too at 10x msrp

No way,

I’m waiting for the psa 10 at $150ish

Rather then waiting for a particular price, I’m waiting for time to buy. 1 month post-event ill buy one. If at month 2 its still going lower, or flat lined in price, ill buy another.

Most people will be home from event, settled in, watching price decrease, they will sell and everyone will move on to other cards or things to buy then i step in and buy. If it reaches 100-50 raw at a later date ill buy another copy. Wont hold more then 3.

Ive had success with monetary “gain” with other cards in this similar fashion i really enjoy collecting, im not trying to time a bottom, im just getting a better average cost on a beautiful stamped card.

It’s almost there boys…

I don’t really know how they determine their prices for cards, but it’s never really accurate. I assume it averages it with the lower condition rank stuff. The lowest A rank when I checked earlier today was $207, which is more like $230 by the time you add on fees and shipping.

Simple Update:

PSA 10 Copies are going for $470 and Sealed is holding at $250
Raw copies selling as low as $160 and high as $250

Where will these prices go in 6 months? Put your guesses below!

Probably because there are way more eyes on the platform waiting for it to drop than sellers are willing to

I don’t know, but I do know that there is zero chance they go for $25 or $40 or whatever other ridiculous numbers were said in this thread lol
