Older ones are becoming harder to find and more expensive all the time. I have never seen a 2004 or 2007 staff copy come up for sale, and those two sets are by far the hardest to come by. 2005 and 2006 are seen more often but sellers want a lot for them. I haven’t seen many World Championship card collectors but I’m curious if anyone thinks the demand for these cards will rise.

I think as trophies continue to become more and more scarce they will become a good substitute to those collectors interested in TCG specifically related to Worlds. Also, within these there is a challenge to get closer and closer. For example Top 32, Top 16, Top 8, Quarter Finalist, Semi-Finalist, Champion, etc…
