I really want to start collecting and investing in WATA Sealed Pokemon. However not having information on the Pop Report rly is starting to upset me. I dont understand why WATA wont release there pop report. I want to purchase a 9.4 pokemon Silver but spending that kind of money without a pop sucks
@prereleaseraichu Iām hearing through the grapevine that WATA will eventually publish pop reports. Just a rumor that I donāt think can be validated yet though. Until then weāll just have to do without, but I agree with you that it sucks. A++ does have a premium over A+, but it depends on what you mean by ābigā. It tends to vary because some people care a lot about the seal and others donāt care as much, so it really depends on the day since most market prices for graded Pokemon games are determined by auctions nowadays.
Would not expect someone with wallstreet in their name to complain that something is too expensive when in reality you can get them for probably $15k total.
@dragonwarrior, haha touche, itās all relative I suppose. Zelda and many other games are so much cheaper. Iām likely to pick up a sealed Zelda first and try to find a solid deal on the Poke Red/Blue. Both very nostalgic for me
There are so many variations to the red and blue - white ESRP, sandshrew battle, etc. Has anyone put together a full list of variants? Would be an interesting exercise if someone knows.
Hi guys, I donāt collect sealed games atm this isnāt an area I know much about at all. In terms of grading companies for games is there a go to company like PSA for sending games to be graded? I saw a few mentioned VGA and WATA but have no idea about this. Any help is appreciated, cheers.
Iāve collected sealed Pokemon games for quite a while but havenāt got anything graded, all just sitting on a shelf still. Seems like such a pain to grade them being in Canada lol
Itās actually not a pain at all. I graded mine myself in Canada through WATA. Just do the forms and ship them off lol. A bit more expensive in shipping maybe, but not really a hassle at all
Youāre not importing a good that you paid for, youāre receiving back something that was already yours and was sent for appraisal. You donāt have to pay import fees for that. Same applies when you get cards back from PSA in Canada. Just make sure to tell them to properly mark the customs forms properly so it is labeled as such.
I bought this copy raw last November or December for around $1000, got it graded earlier this year. Iād like to upgrade to a 9.4+ with an A+ seal eventually, but right now all the holders of those copies are pretty insane with their asking prices. Maybe when they sit for 6+ months theyāll be more willing to talk.
Awesome! I recently bought a couple Japanese GBC pokemon CIB. I understand they were never sealed but Im excited to get them. Maybe one day when wata or vga accept these ill get them graded
