Where to Buy Single Cards?

Hi all!

I am wondering whether there is anywhere better than eBay when buying singles. I am particularly interested in vintage Japanese and English and non-TCG cards from Pokemon, but I also have other interests in MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh in Japanese and English… I live in England and would ideally like to spend as little on shipping or know I am buying locally, or at least buy from somewhere shipping costs will combine on multiple card orders. I am mostly buying to complete sets.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Then at least for the TCG part have a look at Cardmarket, just be aware of possible custom charges if you order from EU sellers.

I second Cardmarket, fair prices and lots of inventory. Haven’t been buying on ebay since I learned how to use the insane Cardmarket’s search system.

https://www.cardtrader.com/en/pokemon is my new favourite place to buy singles. They basically operate as a middleman service and consolidate packages for you so it’s saved me a lot of money on shipping

Inventory can be a bit spotty but I think that will continue to improve over time

I just buy on tcgplayer and die a little inside each time.

Depends on the mood and price.sometimes I will buy singles on eBay, comic book stores/card shops, card shows, or actual friends. The price has to be good and condition.
