Was wondering why you rarely, if ever, see the 3xxx cert number but 2’s & 4’s are typically always floating around.

I asked this question myself a few years back as I recall!
The general consensus is the cert numbers jump around a bit, as there actually are some certs starting with 3 out there, but they are very few and far between in my experience. They will most likely go back to the 3 certs once they are through the 4 certs, but you can never know for sure as there is no real rhyme or reason to it.

@mewtuw, I graded 1 million cards when the #2 certs ended therefor I have all the #3 certs in my collection. If you would like to purchase a #3 cert I take payment of 1 Moomoo Milk. Hope this helped.

Few and far between, but they exist. I’ve got a couple myself.

I’ve got a couple, maybe I should charge a premium over the 4xx because theyre rarer…

@pierce, is just messing around, though some believe certain certs being superior to others. Like I said before, I am almost certain (though not 100%) that the 3 certs will come back in full force once we get to 49xxxxxx certs. Keep your eyes peeled!
Well, they have used the 3xx certs on a few cards but for whatever reason went on to use the 4xx certs for most things. I wouldn’t think they would fetch a premium either, despite them being rare - when PSA begins using the 3xx certs again, their rarity will diminish.
Still, it’s cool that you own some of the first/few 3xx certs!
