I graduate from Duolingo and have my first in person Spanish class tonight. What languages do you all know? Do you enjoy studying language and/or etymology?
English and a little Canadian
Some Spanish (it’s ROUGH these days since I don’t use it much) and starter pack of Japanese to get through most situations in Japan lol
Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, rudimentary German. There’s also some repressed Junior High French which we only had to suffer through because one turd in class voted French over German due to peer pressure from his girlfriends.
German, English, a little bit of Spanish and very very basic Polish. I am also able to read Cyrillic but I have no skills and knowledge in any language that uses the Cyrillic alphabet lol.
English, Italian and just a bit of Japanese to read names on Pokemon cards lol
English, Welsh, Italian, French and snippets of American.
English, some python/java but I dont use java that much anymore
Just English and Japanese. I’m too lazy to learn another language and only learned Japanese to be able to live, if I had been planning to stay in America I wouldn’t have bothered with it
Also congrats on the graduation! Get yourself some good food
English & a little bit of Russian
I speak decently conversational Japanese and Spanish
I’ve worked in Japanese for the last 7 years so would consider myself fluent. I’ve been learning Mandarin Chinese for a long time as well, probably not good enough to use it professionally yet but can hold a conversation on most topics now. Would love to learn more languages but time is always the issue (or maybe it’s just time management!)
Korean and English
English and a little German.
I am starting to learn Chinese (Mandarin) since my husband is Taiwanese. His English is good, but his parents can’t speak English at all. My goal is to learn at least enough Mandarin to be able to have basic conversations with them.
English and Dutch
I can speak enough french for basic conversation. Just dont talk fast to me, otherwise i wont understand.
I can speak decent English most days.
Java, Java script, Python, assembly, C++…
But I hate coding.
My native language is Spanish … I’ve learnt English since I was a child (and it’s a language that has helped me a lot in both personal and collecting life)
I’m currently learning Japanese with a small study group and I’m interested in learning Quechua and, if possible, Thai & Indonesian.
That’s awesome!!! Congrats!!! … ![]()
If you need me to help you correcting a text or something regarding Spanish, let me know ![]()
I want to learn Python …
Seems interesting for me …
