This is like when I found out Gary’s favourite pokemon was Venusaur not Charizard. I assumed your number one was Pikachu! :open_mouth: :laughing:

As you can see I like fire and dragons, I have no idea after gen 3!

Tbh, Pikachu isn’t in my top 20 anymore at this point. And for gen 1 I would pick loads of other Pokémon before Pikachu as well, like Haunter, Alakazam, Kabutops, Aerodactyl, Moltres, Kingler, Mew, Marowak. After that probably Pikachu I guess. :laughing:

I mainly started collecting Pikachu cards back in 2015 because I knew there were loads of them and it would keep me busy for a while (which is an understatement at this point… :sweat: ), but it was never in my top 10 favorite Pokémon. My top 5 Pokémon would be Seviper, Ditto, Haunter, Mimikyu, Alakazam. ‘collect what you love’! I don’t think I could collect as many of one specific Pokémon if it wasn’t my number 1! So you also collect your other favourites?

I indeed collect Seviper. Just need three more cards to complete that collection. I also collect my favorite TCG artwork in PSA-10, NM ungraded, and sealed variations; English & Japanese exclusive FA Supporters; the full national index including forms and Shiny Pokémon; and I used to collect Mimikyu, but stopped with that. And non-Pokémon, I collect twisty puzzles; Yu-Gi-Oh rarities (TCG, OCG, Korean, misprints); and euro coins. Yeah ik, I collect too much. :slightly_smiling_face:

Currently my main focus is my Yu-Gi-Oh rarity collection. Simultaneously I keep up with releases for the FA Supporters, which is 100% complete right now. And I’m always on the lookout for the last few cards I need for my Seviper and Moltres collections.

Seriously how can y’all pick one favourite is like choosing to collect only one card or play with one member.

α AbraKadabraAlakazam. Yeah fuck this… Has any line ever had more synchronisation in being a perfectly rounded evolution design? It’s like chosing between Cubone and Marowak when they are one and the all. Really, everybody likes everything from Kanto, goes without saying including Rizadon on a good art which is surprisingly not that many.
∞ Smeargle. Highly revered characteristic designs in this era.
∞ Sableye. Maybe Shedinja or Armaldo, then you have to contend with the majestic power trio which everyone has a connection with. The first legendaries to have an actual occurance with the story along with being able to just so happen take half of your team out without thinking.
∞ Arceus? Have a lot of reverence for it now. An experimental (I’ll give it that) but mediocre, muddled generation.
∞ Garbodlure.
∞ Dragalge.
