Question, apologies if this has been asked before (I’m rarely online), but what if the year 2020 didn’t play out like it did. How long do you think it would’ve took for prices to reach where they are now? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? Or would they have reach these prices this year regardless of everything?

Hm that’s kind of an impossible question to answer. I mean what exactly do you mean by “not played out like it did”? A lot of things “play out” every second everywhere on the planet.
Instead of Covid there could just as well be a nuclear war and prices plummet. Who knows?
Or maybe if people wouldn’t be under lockdown and concerts would be still possible, Justin Bieber would be rich enough and willing to literally buy every single feggin Pokemon card, making prices even more ridiculous.
Kind of a moot discussion IMO, sorry.
