Hello, I was curious what everyone, especially the admins, thought of making a UPCCC YouTube channel. I would be willing to run it, and all the admins in addition to myself would have access to it. Here are some ideas as to what kind of videos we could include:
Set Description Videos
The first and most prominent of my ideas was the creation of videos that describe the various sets and promos that exist. We could list their origin, original method of obtaining them, rarity, etc. With the nearly limitless amount of promos in existence, there would definitely not be a lack of possible videos.
Collecting Tip Videos
The second of my ideas would be collecting tip videos. As with any hobby, TCG collecting can be daunting and overwhelming. These videos could help newbies and established collectors alike. These videos could be about storing cards, professional grading by PSA, buying online with eBay or Yahoo! Japan, the list is very long.
Interviews/Card & Set Showings/etc.
The third idea I had was in-person interviews or video chat interviews with established collectors and also videos where collectors can show off their collections’ various promos or sets. These videos would probably be less frequent, but any time we made them they would surely be entertaining.
Weekly News Update
The last idea I had was a weekly vlog where we could tell of all the Pokemon news that happened during the last week (or two weeks, monthly, whatever ends up working). We could tell all about up coming promotions, card sets, etc. Very similar to what Pokebeach does on their homepage, but in vlog form.
I’m a A/V major and I thought it would be entertaining to make a channel. It could also get more people into the hobby I can edit the videos and run the channel, and like I said the admins will also have full access and anybody on the forum who wants to make content for the channel will be able to (me and/or the admins will of course make sure the quality is up to par), this includes even if someone simply wants to write a script for a video and someone else can record it. This is simply an idea I had that I thought would be fun and was curious what you all thought. Let me know, and maybe we can make something out of this
