From greenish to dark blue: What color is Squirtle?

Petition to just call the color Squirtle Blue. It’s a color that can range from greenish to blue.

This can lead to adaptations like camouflage or signaling to other animals depending on the color variation displayed. Different color patterns within a species can happen due to genetic diversity and offer survival advantages in their specific habitats.
For squirtle, it seems deep, open, or murky water leads to a darker blue skin pigment while shallow, sunny, or tropical water leads to a greener tone. Perhaps this is related to the waters pH levels or temperature. Ultimately they are all squirtles color.
