What's your best advice to new Pokémon collectors?

If you entered the hobby today, what advice would you give to new/returning collectors? My advice: avoid the noise at all costs

I’ve always found it valuable to have a lot of knowledge gathered in one place. We have a lot of tools to find and save some knowledge and resources like tags, search tool and bots but i hope this thread will keep it even more easy to have a comprehensive package of resources related to pokemon tcg.
