I am a shining pokemon fan. Gold stars are pretty neat too!
They both have great artwork too.
Value wise gold star are worth more because there are roughly 25-27 gold star to collect, and you have four to to five cards worth 1k in a PSA 9 grade.
Shining 1st edition only 10 out there.
However remember to collect what you enjoy!

For me the point that is overlooked is that the price difference between 9 and 10 of charizard shining should make you lean or for a charge a higher thread and take 10 or opt for the gold star.
Then his speech was not a single card, even though he especially emphasized charizard. So the shining aside charizard and mewtwo do not have much interest. So I would lean towards the Gold stars for the remaining thousand reasons. But it’s just my opinion.

The pop of the 9/10 fully explains the price difference between the two cards. Just because the gold star in 10 is worth more, doesn’t suddenly make the 9 also worth more.
The question was which card is worth more in 9. The answer is easily quantifiable and can be read straight from the graph. Obviously the answer may change in the future but there’s no reason I see to expect one to beat out the other.
I agree with you about this. But I explain that is better buy psa 10 shining charizard with a “little” more investment or charizard gold star psa 9. But if you analize only pricesure you are right.
