No offense taken! Just tough to gauge the level of sarcasm being a brand new member…I can assure you the thought of gluing the cracked case did not for a second cross my mind lol. I placed the order with a seller in Houston, Texas and I am in Vancouver, Canada…The seller placed the 2 cards in a single bubble wrapped envelope and sent them nearly 4000 km, so it wasn’t a surprise one of them broke along the way. The seller offered to partially refund me the cost of reslabbing the card and I was happy with that. I have about 30 PSA graded cards in transit from different sellers and I have been hoping that no other cards arrived damaged. Like I said, this was my very fist PSA card I ever purchased over the internet ( have made lots of purchases locally) and the case arrived cracked so It was really discouraging. I look foward to chatting and becoming a member of the community here. I stumbled across smprattes youtube channel while ago and finally decided to join the forum! Cheers
I think you’ll find that cases being cracked during transit are rare and unfortunately you got a bad first draw. Just a bubble mailer is typically plenty and it takes some serious misuse of the post office to cause damage like that. So much so that I doubt another layer of bubble wrap would have stopped the damage. I’m glad to hear that the seller was understanding and made the situation right! Best of luck in your collecting! I’m sure you will love this forum. There’s so much knowledge and many great people here!
