Troll and Toad

By the mixed bag of experience I wouldn’t honestly do it if you are having to spend that much when you don’t necessarily want to, especially given that condition seems to be a fair issue with them.

Trollandtoad:

There are 2 definitions for NM condition:

Newer cards: Ranges from NM- NM/Mint

Older Cards: Ranges from PL/EX to NM (if you’re lucky) (mostly EX)

I recommend Collectors Cache over Troll N Toad.

I’ll give them a look, any idea what their international shipping rates are off the top of your head?

Their International shipping rates are quite high, as they use USPS first class Mail. It depends on the size of your order however your probably looking at anything from 30.00 to 60.00 USD more if you choose express services. They do offer a lot of choices though a lot more than Troll N Toad.

My Advice is that if you are making a big purchase I advise using higher end Postal services like First Class or express, with some form of registration. Purchasing cards for a collection I definitely recommend Collectors Cache over Troll N Toad.

I purchased a Rayquaza Gold Star from Collector Cache and I sent it to PSA. The Rayquaza Graded a PSA 10. I have bought from Collector Cache many times and their cards are of high Near Mint to Mint quality. I hope this Helps you friend As an Australian collector I have to source most my cards from the states, I have had 3 years experience buying from over seas vendors!

If you’re like me and can’t, or just don’t want to spend a lot of money on cards, don’t care about PSA grading (but still want NM cards), and simply collect for your own entertainment/nostalgic reasons, then troll and toad is fantastic. If you like buying cards to hopefully get good PSA grades, then it sounds like it would be wise to do business elsewhere.

edit: Just to be clear, I’m talking strictly about singles (and older ones at that). I haven’t ordered anything else from there because that’s when shipping becomes much more than the $3 it costs me for Canadian singles shipping

Thanks guys.
Yeah grading isn’t really a priority, i’m typically happy with near mint, just get a bit cautious after reading reviews of TandT as it seems to be a bit of lucky dip where they typically just mark everything as NM unless its been through the wash.

Collectors cache is expensive. If you aren’t condition crazy, it is probably not the best option.
