No offense but after lurking this forum for some time, it seems to me that you’re either a shill sponsored by cardboard gold or someone who works for the PSA. Why else would you be so adamant that card savers are better than anything else? Why do you go in every thread trying to convince people to buy those overpriced cardsavers?
Triple sleeving just seems excessive. Put the card in the card saver or top loader, put a sleeve over that and call it good. No dirt or dust can get inside. If you go the binder route, one sleeve will be enough, and even if you have acid pages you can just change the penny sleeve every year or so.
No offense, but if you had been here for longer you would know Gary, and also know that when Gary is convinced of something, God help the man that tries to challenge him.
He swears by card savers and PSA but is definitely not a shill. Gary bleeds Pokémon community.
I don’t use card savers or grade cards but can see how they are both a great option. If I wasn’t obsessed with set binders, I would definitely be in favour of card savers over top loaders.
Nope, that’s not the reason. The reason is, in my 50+ years of trying to protect and space manage my card collections, I’ve tried everything. Nothing has accomplished that goal better than Card Saver 1s.
Now I do have hundreds of binder sets in boxes in my lockers. The reason is both I could never get to them all plus they all have nice customized binders done by me. I brought a couple boxes of Yugioh binders home to play with (lol) so I’ll post a picture below of what I mean.
So why do I post that so often? Well it’s a great tip and I know many new people check out our great site and they may not have seen my advice on this earlier.
You said they were overpriced. Well to many they may be but the cards are expensive too so spending on protection makes sense to most of us collectors.
Lastly, don’t you think it’s a bit of an exaggeration to say, “Why do you go in every thread trying to convince people to buy those overpriced cardsavers?”
