Topps Chrome Spectra, Sparkle, and Tekno cards

Hello!

Can someone help me with some value of these cards?? Lets use a Sparkle Bulbasaur in NM condition for example. I didn’t see it listed on PSA, and there were no sold listings on eBay that I found.

Basically, is there anywhere that I can get rough estimates of these cards? Or am I going to have to just go off sold listings of other cards because there are so few number of these cards.

These cards have very little sales history and when they do sell a lot of them move privately. It’s really hard to price them but I’ve dealt with enough of them (buying and selling) to safely say a bulbasaur sparkle in raw NM condition (keep in mind most are going to be NM unless they have a factory error because these are topps cards and people did not play with them) would probably go somewhere between 100 and 300 dollars. Graded 9 probably in 200-300 range and 10 somehwere 300-500 range. It’s very hard to say exactly b/c that hasn’t been determined yet with the current market via eBay.

My reference: Having had 50+ teknos and 100ish sparkles pass through my hands via buys and sells.

That is the knowledge I was looking for! My particular bulbasaur is NM with one knick in it. So its probably not going in the crazy top end range. But, that’s exactly what I was looking for!

Because you seem to have some knowledge in them can I ask one more question? I just started collecting the Chrome series. Is the order of rarity Tekno, Sparkle, Spectra, regular? Or is Sparkle the most rare? Just wondering for future reference. I’m planning on just getting all regulars but bought a lot of cards for $30 and it had some sparkles and spectras so now I’m digging up info on those.

Your order of rarity is correct! Tekno is the rarest of the bunch, not Sparkle.

Yeah, I grabbed that one haha. It was cheap and I figured why not. I knew that bulbasaur was a sparkle, but didn’t realize the value of it. I knew it was worth a good amount more than normal chromes, so I was excited! There was 1 or 2 spectras in that too.

I get to try and figure out what the heck the last 4 pages of cards were. From what I’ve found, they are spanish cards but have all english text, so that one’s thrown me for a loop. Maybe I’ll have to ask here on teh forums if I don’t come across anything when I dig some more.
