I’ve been searching for a topps chrome series 2 booster pack for awhile, and one finally hit ebay with a starting bid of $450. Is this an accurate price for what these packs are worth now? Series 1 is only going for $50ish
Series 2 is rare, but not that rare, although it’s one of those things where someone who’s desperate might bid on it, so I would consider how much I really want it
The last packs I’ve seen sell and “heard of” selling have gone from 70-120 range each. That pack on eBay is a grab for someone who is desperate. The $450 price tag would outweigh most of the better pulls in the set so there wouldn’t be a point in it being priced as such. I’d say the earlier range I mentioned might be more accurate but with something niche and rare - its just up to whatever someone is willing to pay. No “market price” to go by.
I sold a series 2 box relatively recently for $1,800, if that helps put things into perspective. But everyone else here is right… there’s not really a “market price” to go off of.
