theFierceStorm's Officially Licensed Pokémon Pin Collection

My partner found the Bulbasaur Mega Construx for half price and, on building it, we discovered it has an unorthodox pin where a not-Lego brick works as the pin back. Not sure it’s within your scope, but in case you haven’t already seen it:

Looking at other Mega Construx sets on ebay, a lot of them also have an exclusive pin. Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

I knew about a similar promo pin from SDCC 2023 but I never could wrap my head around why it was called a “pin”

Got these pins from working at Pokemon Go Fest NYC the last 2 years the 2023 one i was the judge for the battle grounds that year giving them away to winners. The 2024 pin was given to me by a co-worker, and the necrozma pin was a preorder from that year that a friend who also went gave to me

Happy New Year! Here is an update to my growing pin collection.

Trying to count all my pins is quite the task so I added little sticky notes to each section after counting my collection last year and kept updating them through out the year. It was helpful this year but I am thinking I may switch to a google spreadsheet. It would be neat to see a break down of how many pins I have per country.

I didn’t get them all up on the wall for this year’s update, but I am going to be doing some rearranging because my championships board is out of space.

I lost track of Official vs Unofficial pins so my grand total (give or take  ) is 4235 pins!

The Pokemon Center went crazy again this year and released over 300 pins retailing around $3,000. But hey, it is easy to reach the free shipping limit every time

My biggest grail find this year was the 4 pin Pokemon Ranger set. I had never seen a complete set ever listed anywhere before and 2 sets actually popped up within months of each other.

My biggest disappointed was I had purchased a sealed 2000 pin set with both Marowak AND Hitmonlee from Yahoo Japan but the seller never shipped. These are the last two I need to finally finish the Australian 2000 pin set!

As always, please PM me for any close ups!

Love your updates! So many awesome pins to see. Had no idea they made a M Ampharos jumbo pin :scream:!

I really like the look of the pokemon play lab releases but its hard to find them reasonably priced. Also the pokemon center lottery pins in flipcoin designs. Argh, too many cool pins to think about listing out.

Congrats on another year of collecting and keeping up with releases. Good luck in 2026!

Where is a good spot to get some pokemon pins? Im always sad to look at my personal pin collection and see my one pin of Pikachu wearing his little Flareaon hoodie. Where can i find some?

The Pokemon Center never really has any sales and the pins are high quality - https://www.pokemoncenter.com/category/pins

If you are just looking to start a collection, search eBay for “pokemon pin lot”, there are always cheap auctions going on for bulk pins
