Battle Card e+ Second Shot - sealed box

This box is much ‘taller’ than other boxes, so considering it only contains 30 packs (I think), I don’t know what is occupying all that space inside. I do have another one, but then that would mean … I’d have to open it gasp

I love the silhouettes on that box, looks fantastic! Funny story with the previous box you had, for ages and aged I thought the packs were ex emerald equivalents for Japanese as I didn’t realise it didn’t exist and I almost won a metric but load of them without realising they were the e cards. Luckily I noticed in time and buyee cancelled my bid for me  almost £400 down the toilet!

I was in a similar boat as well with the FR/LG box, won the auction on yahoo, decided to watch a pack opening on youtube … “oh, these aren’t (normal) pokemon cards.” I didn’t bother me much though because I think the box is cool enough.

It’s all about the base.

Thanks for showing this card. The moment I saw this card existed in this thread of yours I looked on eBay and bought the cheapest (just the card, not the sealed set). It arrived today. It’s always cool to have a special one-of-a-kind type of card in your collection.

Greetz,
Quuador

My first PSA card! And I really quite like it. Before, I wasn’t too fussed with them, but now having held one I think it adds a lot of grandeur to the card. The grade isn’t anything special but I’ve found it beneficial to see what its detractors are. I also didn’t realise it was a red gyarados before now; I had thought the shining referred to the holo pattern. Silly me.

Great start and certainly not the last graded card you’ll obtain!

It’s definitely good idea to own one or two ~PSA 8’s as benchmark cards even if you’d mainly focus on 10’s.

I don’t doubt it, I’ll need to find his smaller fishy friend now. I was half planning to get it out of the case to use in my Neo 3 binder since I still need both.

Great …catch (:speak_no_evil: I had to). I always have to stop and look at this card any time I come across it in a thread! No matter the grade, it’s beautiful.

Also, excellent use of legos :+1:

Awesome card! Now that you have been bitten by the PSA bug what are you gunning for next?

Not that you’re biassed or anything  Not sure really. There’s a few cards with artwork I really like (Team Rocket Magnemite and Neo Destiny Ampharos) which I think I’ll have a look at.

Contrary to popular belief I do have some non sealed items, I think they’re commonly called ‘cards’. I’ve been really enjoying putting some binders together recently from some partial sets I bought. It’s stupid to say, here of all places, but I quite like all these cards, and the artwork is awesome. I guess I never gave them too much attention.

Still some way to complete (in NM+) and since you’ve probably already seen these sets a bajillion times before, I’ve only included a few photos.

Neo series commons and uncommons are the best of the best imo.

Agreed, they just look great. I’m beginning to sort through some bulk from ADV/PCG sets and there’s a stark difference in art direction.

I do like a lot from adv and pcg sets too but they don’t match up to neo. Ex frlg is amazing for commons and uncommons if I think about it tbh.

I took a bit of a break from collecting over the christmas period, so this is my first foray in 2017.

Since I first learnt about no rarity cards I was very interested in them, mainly in sealed product, but I’ve slowly been collecting the set and these being my first graded copies.
