The saga of my lost cards and UPS

I know we all have different horror stories about the mail, but I have been sending my more valuable orders via registered mail with USPS. Workers have to sign every time it gets touched, there is insurance and not really too expensive.

I found this after FedEx lost a valuable order, destroyed the box and it was finally returned months later.

Happy to see the ending of your post.

Cheers!

I live in an apartment and travel for work so I definitely stress out when it comes to receiving the shipment.

Only trouble I’ve ever had with FedEx is they consistently mark that there was a delivery attempt when they never even tried. Very annoying.

I’m glad this worked out for you. Insurance through the big 3 shipping services (USPS/UPS/FedEx) for collectibles is a joke.
They will not pay out and will find every loophole imagineable to. I finially bit the bullet and got a CIS (Collectible Insurance Services) policy that also provides shipping insurance. Best decision I’ve ever made after having the misfortune of having to do insurance claims with carriers before

I’m getting it mailed to my parents place and am going to work from home that day over there so I can just sign and receive it in person

Congrats again on the card. It’s a beautiful copy. I’m jealous :slightly_smiling_face:
