This one is baffling to me, I got a copy for 200 a couple years ago which I still have. someone paid 20x, none of the other holos jumped that much

Anyone’s ebay searches just not working lately?
For example i check everyday for specific searches utilizing filters in keywords like -reverse -non -japanese
But just yesterday anytime i try to filter using them, i get 0 results, when there should be results like before
For example
pokemon aquapolis holo (h18,h23,h28) -reverse -japanese -jpn -non -italian
Whereas pokemon aquapolis holo h18 gives me 25 results. with several that shouldve caught the original filter keywords.

This happens to me occasionally, but a simple refresh fixes it.
I’ve tried refresh, different browser, incognito etc. Been happening since Thursday

I was trying to make a yearly tcgplayer order on some newer cosmos cards maybe like 30 of em and while we have some lists here on the forum I figured id do my usual generic cosmos search and see if I missed any cause there’s always something new.
That’s when I saw mewtwo prices and checked ebay and yep sure enough the prices were certainly much higher than 50 cents.
There were a good 10 cards like that that had exploded. Like that’s the highest rise of any series of cards ever. At least the 5-10k cards didn’t go up 8000% they just went up y’know… just 1000%.

Though that one wasnt quite 50 cents maybe got it for $5. But still. Lot of cards like that went way up. I didn’t luck out on everything. Plenty of modern I didn’t get like an umbreon that are already gone and in my mind price memory precludes me from ever getting those. Just flat out crossed them off the list. They’ll always be worth pennies or dollars to me not hundred or more.

The Mewtwo was a best buy exclusive in a product that cost more to get than the usual 5$ blister. So people have less of them to dump

Interesting. Time to scoop up those 151 reverse holos with the cosmos foil in the Costco tin box while I still can.
