Thought this was cool, the championship hat has appeared on Y!J, which is the first time I’ve seen this go on sale. Apparently it was limited to 4th place and up, making it fairly rare. Definitely a neat piece of memorabilia!

Any takers on what part of the price is Sachiko and what part is Suzukisan?

Figured this might get some discussion going here. Illustrator recently popped up. Seems the guy got it verified over here in Japan, not sure about the qualifications for fukufuku trading cards. But I imagine they’re reputable? I’d love to trade for this, but it seems the guy is probably just gonna sell based on what he wrote in the description. You’ve got until the 28th to buy before he moves to foreign markets as well.

That card looks pretty fake. Border looks way too yellow and thick compared to other illustrators.

Now that you mention it, I guess borders don’t quite line up even if you mentally center it in your head. It would always be off. They’re thicker than standard JP borders.

Can anyone help me authenticate this card? The back border on this McDonald’s promo seems more “golden” than all of the other Japanese cards I own. Is this normal for this set of promo’s? There is also a swirl on the card near the middle of the moves. This is throwing me off as well.
I love the art on this set, and am looking to chase all 18 cards. I just want to make sure I didn’t get swindled before continuing to buy more.

not the best of pictures but the swirl in the middle of the card in theory is fine, it’s probably just holo bleed, and not a particular pronounced one at that. The gradient of the gold on the back is odd but I’m chalking that up to your lighting. Should be okay tbh, and if it makes you feel any better I’ve personally never seen a fake of this set
