The Giant English Market Thread

I don’t think that confirms that they are paid for and is just an archive of the auction. I thought you have to go to the archive to see paid items. That page also shows the $60k BGS 9 1st Edition Zard as ‘sold’, which I highly doubt.

I caught my mistake a few minutes before you posted. It looks like none of those zards in the prior page or the 61000$ zard have been paid for.

That’s what I’m seeing too. Time will tell…

PSA 9 1st ed blastoise sold for 9.4k and a bgs 9 at 8k seems 9-10k is the new norm for this card! 1st ed base is booming!

Looks like 9s are the new 10s

Thats almost too cheap…

That’s pretty cheap (~7.6k USD excluding fees). Curious to see how high it will go. I think the last SNAP Articuno sold for 2M JpYen (~18k USD) iirc? EDIT: Actually, they sold for 1.8M (March 20th, 2018) and 1.6M (May 18th, 2019) JpYen respectively (both by pkonno with Buyout).

Is it the camera or is there a horizontal black streak across the front of the card?

Definitely see that in the pic and it doesn’t seem to extend to the table …

It was Probstein so if it wasnt it will be relisted and it looked like buyer had won a lot of pokemon stuff recently regardless.

What do you guys think of this pricepoint for this Trophy Kangaskan? With slight whitening on the edges it looks about PSA 8 worthy to me.

If I am understanding this correctly, it is going for 5000 yen. I believe that is around 50 dollars. This can’t be a real Trophy Kangaskhan. Seems like a scam.

Well someone bought it, looks like it’s out of stock now. For $50USD though it’s worth the gamble imo.

No, it’s not 5000 yen, its 2,455,800 yen (about $23,322 USD). You have to click “See All Listings” and be sure you have your browser translator on. And it’s still for sale!

That makes a lot more sense! I did not have my browser translator on. I should have done that.

I thought this was interesting. PSA 9 Fossil unlimited sold for 2700 which is 180$ average a holo. Pretty good considering the most expensive holo is Dragonite and the next most expensive cards being the bird trio and maybe gengar.
