The “Big 3” of new back era trophy cards?

Personally, I’d agree with the others that listed these:

Mew Victory Orb
Pikachu victory ring
Masters key

I think I’d put Key first, Pika second, and Mew third.

It’s weird to me to see the Scroll listed with the others because I don’t really think of it like that. Sort of just an expensive/popular promo. But having handled like, literally dozens (lol), it is a weird one to include. I think of it more similarly to the Mysterious Pearl.

As much as I love the miracle diamond, wonder platinum, and Champion’s league, they’ve always taken a backseat in popularity and I feel like they don’t wow as much. Not featuring Pokemon that are broadly loved makes them an easy lower rank for me.

But really, everything is second to the Key if we’re being honest.

This seems to be the consensus opinion here as artwork featuring Pokemon (and just artwork in general) tend to be the deciding factor in the desirability of the cards. Even though some cards may have more copies than others, the demand will always be the indicator of the market value of the card.
I do wonder out of all the trophies mentioned in this discussion if some were more difficult to obtain than others (in terms of where you had to rank/what level of competition were these awarded). It looks like Masters Key, Champions League, and Wonder Platinum were awarded to competitors at the highest rankings in Japan in their respective years.

There will most likely never be a concise answer for new back trophies. Partly due to their scattered releases. For example, big 3 old back trophies are from the 3 major tournaments. Big 3 1st ed base cards are the 3 starters. Where with new back, its just people naming the 3 cards from a pool they like the most.

Also, if Master Scroll is doubted for even a second, its outselling 90% of the cards mentioned: orbs, rings, diamond, platinum. The last PSA 10 sold for $30,100, with no PSA 10’s available and no ungraded copies in Japan or US.

It’s unreal how Master Scroll went from being one of the more common prize cards to being almost non existent. 3 years ago you could find them for less than $1k all day everyday. Where did they all go? No matter how high the price gets they remain scarce. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen a sealed Master Scroll appear.

All the Pokemon that appear on the new back trophies look unappealing to me. I think some of the rarer ones have the worst/least appealing arts while most can agree the master scroll despite being ‘more common’ has a greater appeal to a larger audience hence its tremendous growth in value.
Sadly I must admit that a PSA 10 master scroll probably has a higher value than most new back trophies now. Higher than umbreon, espeon, master key, wonder platinum, champions league etc.

@jasonisaboy , Congrats on the pick up . I don’t see much talk about the 2 champion’s League cards. Both Are such great examples of good stadiums.

Pretty sure if a 2007 champions league would ever hit the market it would easily outsell the scroll. I know dozens of people looking for a 2007 CL but there just aren‘t any copies anywhere
