All these S&V Gen 1 Illustration Rares are inspiring me to start a binder of the original 151 as AA/IR/SIRs. Though, perhaps wishful thinking that we’ll get a Metapod or Krabby…
You should do it! I’m doing the same with gen 1 and 2. I don’t think there will be an AR for every card, but at least 1 for each family.

Man, Infernape and Cramorant are so good
Even though it’s not exactly comparable we already have stamp box cramorant so slightly disappointing to see it get another special card like this, hoping that as many pokemon as possible get to be showcased on art rares
I was thinking the same thing with Excadrill, but I guess having a character rare doesnt negate the chance of having an art rare
