Could the phase have become too exhausting for some of the more frequent artist when the sets have become bigger and there’s need for new illustrations too frequently so tpc is now fixing that, with slight delay tho
Not really, TPC has been reeling in more new artists annually over the last few years than any previous year and veterans like Arita or Saitou still got to draw several cards per set. The regular set sizes also haven’t been increasing from SWSH, and for special sets the new artists fill in (e.g. 151, Shiny Treasure ex) to balance out bloat. I’m trying to recall an artist who pointed out they’ve been getting less work from Pokémon, which meant they were drawing regularly before. It doesn’t feel like burnout though

At least the Loyal 3 are a bit more full than the Pecharunt SAR. Would’ve loved to see what Kantaro could’ve done with more creative freedom.
Holy hell with that persian. Are you kidding me?? That’s one of the greatest pokemon arts I’ve seen. Incredible! I’m just as excited about that as I was when I first saw kanda art in general. I will simply be purchasing that the instant I see it.

I get how the Persian AR and Giovanni SAR relate to the nighttime and malevolence theme of the set, but I’m surprised they didn’t hold them back for the next Team Rocket set, unless this is supposed to be a kind of thematic lead-in to that set maybe?
They can still make a second Persian (ex) and Giovanni (‘s Ambition) later this year specifically for the set. Gardevoir, Mew, Charizard, Miraidon, Koraidon, Ogerpons, Charmander and Pecharunt have at least 2 special art cards, and I’m sure it won’t stop there

Has anyone been able to figure out how the Loyal 3 and Pecharunt SARs connect?
seems like it doesnt connect exactly its more of different point of view
i agree with dragon. i think they’re just similar settings, sort of like a photoshoot or something

updated the article with all of the secret rares from sv6a which should all be in shrouded fables.
unless there are some new developments re:fables, this will be the last update.
overall, not the most exciting set for many, but there are some good ones in there.
