Yeah well, i was kinda on a rant and spelling wasnt what i was checking lol, also Englisch isnt my native tongue… if i ranted in Dutch it would be perfect lol XD
Haha, u can always learn more! i speak/write 4 languages, and imo its always good when ppl correct mistakes u made, just like life its all a big learning process
Lol quite off topic, but I have a Dutch cousin, who was really bad in school, got some low scores and didn’t even want to retake when the teacher gave him the chance (like when he got a 1 in his presnetation). Funny thing is from all the video games and South Park, he speaks fluent English, better than anyone else at his high school
Well totally off topic, there is a huge diff between the Netherlands ( where your cousin lives prolly ) and Belgium (where i live) in the educational system. Dutch is the only official language in the Netherlands so languages are not quite important, in Belgium we have 3 official langues (Dutch ((Flemish part) French and German) so we have to learn those 3. in some Flemish schools, they teach French as soon as kindergarden, German in high school and English to… if u like even an optional course of Spanish.
Now for a stupid question of my own, next time you want to rant, can you do it in Dutch and then google translate it without editing? That would probably sound funny
Also, I fly to Charleroi in 2 days
In Belgium, which language packs do you find for sale in a store?
Haha deal
Charleroi is the French speaking part, u will normally find packs in French at the local toy store (if ur not certain, just ask the cashier ) In the Flemish part and the Netherlands u will find English packs… there were only 3 sets translated to Dutch and that is Base, Jungle and Fossil. This is because Belgium has no law that says produts need to be translated to the native language. France, Germany, Spain, Italy etc all have such laws and thats why the cards are translated. f.e. English television programs, movies etc are mostly dubbed in those countries aswell
PS: enjoy your stay in our little country, and heads up we have some bad weather forecasts… so take a rainjacket and sweaters with u
A storm just passed through with high winds. A large tree fell over crushing a pickup, the front edge of the roof is touching the dash. The reporter in the field says “the truck is non-drive-able now” NO! REALLY! I would have never guessed.
