Finally got a response back from PSA! Sounds a little promising but not sure if they send similar responses to everyone who submits a research request. Next step is to send some of them in so their team do their research on it. I have 39 of these cards but don’t want to submit all of them in case the package gets stolen or lost. Any suggestions on how many I should send them to do their research? If I send too little, they may come back with something inconclusive.

I’d suggest 5 or 10 and not graded just authenticated. Bring it on!

Most people have sent in singular versions in the past so if you sent 5 to show its a repeating thing, it probably wouldnt hurt. After they determine authenticity then Id send more (after breaking a few off for forum members 
). Unless your plan is to grade them all anyways in which case maybe 10 wouldnt hurt.

This is super cool. I made an account just to to follow the updates lol. I’ve never been able to get my hands on a Silver W… They’re practically impossible to ID on eBay.

I would send in 5 copies to have them evaluate them. Then send 10 at a time from there to prevent risk of losing them all in 1 package, considering how rare they are

Is there a market value on these? Feel like ebay fluctuates on whichever stamps from $60 to like $450 on ebay sold
Just an update for anyone following this thread. I’ve been busy with work but finally entered all the details for the PSA submission. I just need to find the free time to package everything up and mail the cards out to them. I decided to go with sending out 14 silver stamps and 1 gold stamp. I included the gold stamp in case they need one to compare to. Ironically, I originally cracked it from a PSA slab to add to my binder collection but at least they’d have one that they originally graded themselves to compare the silver stamps with. It may take a while to come back with the results but I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

2 months for reaearch? Lol
Its over 2 weeks now for QA checks. Cards are sitting there already graded and not moving. PSA is very inconsistent on TAT. Sent 2 orders in a week apart and they come back a month apart
