Hey guys hope all is well. Hoping someone out there might have solved for this issue before. I’m planning on cracking a very large number of beckett cases for a new binder collection but want to keep the inner beckett sleeves intact because they’re sealed and perfect for archival storage. Problem is that they’re way bigger than conventional sleeves and won’t fit in standard card binders. Has anyone gone down this rabbit hole already? I’m thinking of looking into photo storage albums but welcome any good ideas.
I stored some beckett sleeved MTG cards in an ultimate guard zipfolio, they barely fit but you can get them in there without any bigger issues (mine were graded in the 8X/9X series, not sure if they changed sizes through the years.
Dude - thanks! I will def check that out. I’m officially a crossover collector again. These are for my MtG Alphas, Arabians, Antiquities, Legends sets.
Seriously, though. Like Jon, I’ve also recently got back into MTG collecting a bit. Both Pokemon and MTG are special. MTG feels like a cheap side-hobby now with the price of Pokemon cards lol.
Yes, however I don´t know if they changed the size of the inner sleeve in recent years, only a mm more and it wouldn´t fit comfortably anymore (the 8X/9X worked).
edit: just measured it out, height is exactly 10cm on one slot
Yeah… but then I’d have to touch the cards and break the seal on the archival plastic. I’m planning to crack some serious value so would prefer not to. But yes I could do that
