It would’ve originally gone in B tier for me, but ever since someone pointed out H. Typhlosion looks like a goth girl, with its fur markings looking like a bob haircut, I can’t take the design seriously anymore!

I generally have positive opinions towards the starter lines. I believe they are the most consistently well designed Pokemon in the series, so I tend to get very attached to a lot of them and there are very few that I dislike, the stuff in D tier are the only ones I dislike. Mid-evolutions can get a little weird sometimes, you can see quite a few them in the C tier.
I also don’t take issue with modern Pokemon design philosophy, nor do I think design quality has been on the decline in recent years. If anything I have a slight preference towards modern Pokemon designs but I have an appreciation for the way in which Pokemon have been designed across the series history.
Primarina and Delphox are right behind Riolu/Lucario for my all-time favorite Pokemon. I got into Pokemon during the 3DS era when I was in middleschool, and the Fennekin and Popplio lines were Pokemon I got really attached to alongside Riolu/Lucario.

when I see someone who have positive opinion on starters even them don’t have good opinion on pignite and quilladin, really what did they think when they are introducing these two I am really surprised about it. Firstly they made pignite bad and they made quilladin as a cheap grass copy of pignite
